Fire Station No. 2

Overview
Fire Station No. 2 was built and opened in 2001. This station was established to provide quick emergency response to the growing population in the eastern portions of the city. This was becoming increasingly difficult due to navigating multiple and frequently blocked railroad crossings and the ever increasing roadway congestion.

The station is approximately 7,400 square foot and is equipped with a commercial grade kitchen / dining area, sleeping and restroom accommodations for up to six on-duty personnel, a well equipped exercise area, offices, a common day / congregation room, and a training room. The facility is equipped with back-up generator power to ensure the station and its personnel can continuously function and respond to emergencies under any conditions.
