Welcome Gabriel Reaume as Saginaw’s new City Manager!
Gabe Reaume has served the City of Denison, Texas, since April 2015 as Director of Community & Development Services. His leadership responsibilities included Planning & Zoning, Building Inspections & Code Enforcement, Parks & Recreation, and the Denison Public Library. He previously served the City of Sugar Land, Texas, in several capacities for six years. Gabe began his public service career with the City of Denton, Texas, in the Budget Office as an unpaid intern.
Gabe was raised in rural Michigan and has longstanding family agricultural roots. He earned a Masters of Public Administration from the University of North Texas, where he serves on the Public Administration Alumni Board. Gabe met his wife, Cori (a fellow UNT MPA alum), at a Texas City Management Association conference several years ago. Cori serves the City of Justin, Texas, as City Manager. They have four children between the ages of 1 and 10. The entire Reaume Family is very excited about joining and relocating to the Saginaw community.
Gabe Reaume succeeds longtime Saginaw City Manager Nan Stanford who recently retired July 7, 2017 after 41 years of dedicated service to the citizens of Saginaw, Texas (almost 18 years as City Manager). Mr. Reaume’s first day of work with the City of Saginaw begins January 2, 2018. Saginaw City officials and staff are excited and look forward to working with Mr. Reaume.
