  • New City Entry Welcome Monument
  • Christmas Lights at municipal facilities
  • Purchased 16 pine trees for along the Boulevard
Saginaw Beautification Committee
  • Partnered with four Grain Milling Companies for participating and decorating their facilities at Christmas
  • Purchased five (5) "Saginaw Beautification Project" Signs to place at all new projects (Saginaw Entry Monument at Industrial/Longhorn and Bus. 287) recognizing the Beautification Committee's hard work and showing the residents where their $1 donations go.
  • Overhauled the "Adopt A Spot" program, informational files and redesigned AAS signage
  • Created online presence for the Beautification Committee
  • Landscaping on Old Decatur Road
    • Paid $62,000 for irrigation and landscaping (oak trees) in medians on Old Decatur Road
  • Manage and fund Right of Way Mowing Contract
  • Stone Bed and Landscaping at Digital Display Sign.
  • Christmas Lights/Features to be displayed in Willow Creek Park.
  • Welcome/Entry Sign Landscape Border: Repaired the existing stone landscape border.
  • Saginaw Business Beautification Program: Planning the start of a new program that will encourage and recognize Saginaw businesses for their landscaping efforts at their businesses. Beginning January 2017.
  • Help Reverse Litter: "Ten on Tuesday" encourages businesses, schools, community groups and individuals to reverse litter by picking up 10 pieces of trash and recyclable materials each Tuesday. We will promote this to our citizens, businesses, scouts and schools to help reduce litter in Saginaw.
  • Purchased and installed "Sign Toppers" at top of street signs that signify a Saginaw, Texas Border.
  • Re-established Annual Christmas House Decorating Contest
  • Traffic Control Box Beautification
  • Established "Keep Saginaw Beautiful" program (an affiliate of Keep Texas Beautiful)
