Exercise / Health Awareness Classes
Activities include exercise classes, bingo, card and
domino games, line dancing, quilting, and gospel singing. Bingo is also
played the 2nd Thursday night of each month at 6:00pm. The South end of
the Log Cabin Center is reserved for domino players. A separate
entrance, at the rear of the building, is provided so they can play
dominoes anytime.
Saginaw
Striders Walking Program
-
Join us as we walk from coast to coast! The Saginaw
Striders enjoy their journey walking around the inside of the
Saginaw Recreation Center, 633 West McLeroy Blvd. Eighteen (18) laps
= one mile. Join us as we take our first steps to some wonderful
places. Our first goal is to walk to Shreveport, LA...only 224.5
miles away! DID YOU KNOW that a brisk walk (at least 3 miles an
hour) for 30 minutes daily can help reduce the risk of adult onset
diabetes, coronary heart disease, osteoporosis, and certain cancers!
For more information, call the Saginaw Recreation Center at
817-230-0350 or the Senior Center at 817-230-0593.
