Ft. Worth Brahmas Youth Hockey Camp

The Fort Worth Brahmas are rolling into Saginaw, Texas!
The
City of Saginaw
Recreation & Community Services Department has teamed up with the Fort Worth Brahmas
Professional Hockey Team to bring the Blacktop Brahmas Summer
Tour 2006 to the citizens of Saginaw and surrounding communities.

The Blacktop
Brahmas is the annual summer series of inline hockey clinics
presented by the players, coaches, and staff of the Fort Worth
Brahmas Professional Hockey Team. Actual players and coaches from the
Fort Worth Brahmas instruct
clinic participants in a variety of inline hockey skills
including skating, passing, shooting, and offensive and
defensive strategy. Each Blacktop
Brahmas clinic is two hours long. The first hour of the clinic
is dedicated to skills and drills, while the second hour
includes scrimmaging and an autograph session with the Brahmas
players and coaches on hand.
All of the Blacktop
Brahmas clinics are FREE of charge and open to boys and girls between
the ages of six and sixteen. The Brahmas will provide sticks,
street-hockey balls, helmets, goalie gear, and colored jerseys for
participants to use while taking part in Blacktop Brahmas. In-line
skates are encouraged, but not required, for participants.
The Saginaw Recreation
Center (located at 633 W. McElroy Boulevard in Saginaw) will host two
Blacktop Brahmas clinics this summer. On
Friday, June 16th, a Blacktop
Brahmas clinic will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Just under a
month later, on Wednesday, July 12th, a second Blacktop Brahmas clinic will
be conducted from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Both clinics will be held in
the parking lot on the east side of the Saginaw Recreation Center.
