micro-chipping for your pet. For scheduling or
additional information, either stop by the animal shelter at 205
Brenda Lane or call 817-230-0460.
Resident
Fee: $10
Non-Resident Fee: $20
Pet Registration to assure that
lost pets get home faster and safer.
To Register:
Complete an application at
the Animal Shelter, 205 Brenda Lane or call 817-230-0460.
You will be asked to provide:
A current rabies
vaccination showing the date that the vaccine was given.
The number on the tag
that your veterinarian issued.
A description of the
animal
The annual fee for pet
registration is: $ 3.00
Advice on pet care and training
Educational Programs available to
organizations, schools and neighborhood association meetings.
Trapping nuisance wildlife such
as skunks, raccoons, armadillos, stray and feral cats.
LIVE TRAPS are available for loan. (Contact animal control
for details)
Investigating animal bites filing
bite reports and insuring the biting animal is quarantined
according to state laws.
Responding to:
Dangerous / Vicious animal
complaints
Reports of loose livestock
Barking dog complaints
Impounding animals running at
large within the city limits
