NEWS TICKER >  ..................UPCOMING HOLIDAY SCHEDULE:  All City of Saginaw facilities will be closed Monday, September 6th to observe the Labor Day Holiday.  However, the Saginaw Aquatic Center will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m..................CARTER BLOOD DRIVE:  The Saginaw Recreation Center is hosting a Carter Blood Drive in the parking lot of the Center on September 16 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Your 1 pint of blood can save 3 lives!....................

MISSION STATEMENT:  To lead the Community of Saginaw in enhancing the overall appearance of the Community by beautification through involvement and instilling a sense of pride and personal responsibility that will result in an improvement of the City for its Citizens and Visitors.

RECENT PROJECTS COMPLETED:

  • The Gazebo in Willow Creek Park (In partnership with the Parks Advisory Board) See Below
  • Historical Lighting and Pavestone at City Hall
  • Welcome and Seasonal Banners on Saginaw Boulevard, Blue Mound Road, Saginaw City Hall and Library, Bailey Boswell Road, & Basswood Boulevard.
  • Permanent "Welcome to Saginaw" marker at south entrance to city on South Saginaw Boulevard.  See Below
  • Permanent "Highland Station" marker at entrance to the subdivision.  See Below
  • Pavestone installation in the median on South Saginaw Boulevard at Longhorn Road.
  • Pavestone and antique light fixtures installed on West Bailey Boswell Road at Saginaw Boulevard and in front of City Hall.
  • Landscaping in Kiwanis Park.
  • Landscaping at Police and Fire Complex.
  • Plant trees and shrubs along Saginaw Boulevard to screen the railroad tracks from Longhorn Road to Bailey Boswell Road.
