  1. Summer Camp "Kids-R-Awesome" Registration Begins April 1

    Back by popular demand, the City of Saginaw Community Services Department is once again offering our Summer “Camp Kids-R-Awesome.” This year, we are offering exciting activities such as: physical education activities, dance classes, martial arts classes, cooking classes, field trips, swimming at the Saginaw Aquatic Center, and much more! This camp will be limited to the first 100 kids, so be sure you make your plans now. REGISTRATION: Begins Monday, April 1, 2019 WHEN: June 3 through August 9 TIME: 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. WHERE: Saginaw Recreation Center, 633 West McLeroy Blvd. AGES: 5-11 years ADMISSION: $100 per child/per week PLUS a 1 time $50 registration fee ($75 registration fee if you register after April 30th) FOR INFO: Call the Recreation Center at 817-230-0350

  3. "Concerts in the Park" - Me & My Monkey (Beatles Tribute)

    April 18, 2019, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Willow Creek Park Large Pavilion

    Saginaw, Texas – Arts Council Northeast and the City of Saginaw are pleased to welcome Me & My Monkey for a concert on April 18, 2019 at the Willow Creek Park Pavilion - 101 Knowles Dr. For 21 years, Me & My Monkey - The Beatles Tribute has been a favorite of North Texas, with credits such as Fort Worth Main Street Arts fest (17 years in a row) Mayfest, and MANY other major music festivals, Corporations such as NEC, Six Flags Over Texas, Barnett Shale Petroleum Group, NEC, Coca-Cola, American Airlines, The Texas Rangers, The Dallas Mavericks, The Dallas Stars, Southwest Sports Group, Choctaw Nation Casinos, Golden Nugget Casino & Resort (Reno) and many, MANY others.. also featured at International Beatles Week in Liverpool England, with 7 shows in 5 days throughout Liverpool, including The Royal Court Theater, and the World Famous 'Cavern Club' - where the Beatles rose to fame in England. (M&MM played there - twice!)

  4. Upcoming Holiday Hours - Good Friday

    The City of Saginaw offices will be closed on Friday, April 19, 2019 in observance of Good Friday. Also, your garbage/trash and recycling schedule will not be affected. PLEASE NOTE: The Saginaw City Secretary’s office will be open on Friday, April 19, 2019 from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for election related business only.

  5. Easter Egg Hunt - April 20 (RESCHEDULED from April 13th)

    The Annual Saginaw Fire Department’s Easter Egg Hunt originally scheduled for April 13th has been RESCHEDULED to Saturday, April 20th due to potential inclement weather this coming weekend. The event is held at the southern end of Willow Creek Park between W. McLeroy Blvd. and Longhorn Rd. and begins promptly at 10:00 a.m.. The “hunt” is for ages 0 to 10. The Easter Bunny is scheduled to make an appearance.

    Join us on Saturday, April 27th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for the Saginaw Library Boosters Annual Spring "Book and Bake Sale". Hardback and paperback fiction and non-fiction books, DVDs, CDs, baked goods, and crafted bookmarks will all be on sale in a goal to raise funds to help support the Saginaw Public Library's programs and services.
