Recently several residents have inquired about curb side collection and pickup of items for recycling. Residents may use their own bins or carts for trash pickup, but not recycling. It is important that our residents utilize only approved green recycling bins that are provided by Waste Connections. This ensures uniformity and recognition of items for collection so Waste Connections employees don’t get recycling confused with trash. .
Waste Connections recycling containers are free of charge and can be picked up at City Hall, 333 W McLeroy Blvd. At this moment, recycling containers are currently out of stock but we are expecting to be restocked soon. We will make an announce via email and social media when we get a new shipment in. For more information call 817-232-4640.
Note: We are aware there are some residents that have a Blue Waste Connections Recycle Bin. Your recycling will be collected until the shipment of new green bins arrive, then those residents can exchange their blue bins for green bins.
