Just drop off your retired and unwanted running or casual shoes from May 1 thru June 9, 2012 at the Saginaw Recreation Center. Soles4Souls collects, recycles and reuses shoes to distribute to people in desperate need around the world.

Carter Blood Drive at the Recreation Center

The Saginaw Recreation Center is hosting a Blood Drive on Wednesday, June 6 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the Recreation Center at 633 West McLeroy Blvd. Your one pint of blood can save up to three lives!

Stage 1 Watering Restrictions Lifted - Effective May 4

The Tarrant Regional Water District and the City of Fort Worth are lifting the "Stage 1 Watering Restrictions" beginning Friday, May 4, 2012. However, the rules against outdoor watering between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. will remain in effect.
