Animal Services

The City of Saginaw Animal Services and Adoption Center is located at 205 Brenda Ln. in Saginaw and is the temporary home to many wonderful pets and companions that are available for adoption to loving homes. All adoptions are first-come, first-served. We are dedicated to helping protect the health, safety and welfare of both people and animals in our community. Please stop by and check out our friendly staff at the shelter if you are looking for a family pet, need your current pet micro-chipped or if you are interested in volunteering.

  1. Did you know that the Saginaw Animal Services holds an average of 90% pet adoption rate including reclaims and rescues? It's true!
  2. At a recent off-site animal adoption event, we took eight (8) dogs. All eight (8) were adopted!
  3. Volunteers are an essential part of the daily activities in our shelter to assist with socializing, walking, cleaning and playing with the animals.
  4. For the month of April 2016

    , we had 40 animals that were adopted and found new homes!  We also had 28 lost animals reunited with their home!
